Biscuits Suffer 2-1 Loss to Braves
|
The Mississippi Braves claimed a close win over the Montgomery Biscuits, due in large part to Sean Lutz. The Mississippi left-hander pitched a great game to secure the 2-1 win. Jeff Kindig recorded the save for Mississippi, his 7th of the season. The Braves are now 80-59.
Eric Ricks had a direct impact on the outcome. Ricks contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the first inning to put Mississippi up, 2-0.
"Wins don't come easy," Ricks told the Mississippi Bulletin. "They don't just hand them out like lollipops."
