Richmond left fielder Tony Barnes had a 3-RBI game, leading his team in its 5-1 defeat of the Erie SeaWolves. Barnes picked up 2 singles and 1 double in the ballgame. Mike Constant earned the win. Joe Peters took the loss for Erie. Erie is now 3-17.
In the bottom of the third, Richmond designated hitter Jake Jenkins had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and one out, Jenkins stroked a run-scoring single to right. It made the score 1-0, Richmond. For the game, he was 1-4.
