Remar goes 3-for-5 to Power Blue Wahoos Offense
In a high-scoring contest between Pensacola and Montgomery, third baseman Joe Remar was a difference-maker. Remar distinguished himself in the 9-8 Pensacola win. He went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 6 runs and scored once. Pat Chappel, who is tied for 2nd in the TXSL in saves with 27, nailed down the save. The Blue Wahoos go to 68-57, putting them 4th in the TX/SL Southern League.

In the top of the seventh, the Blue Wahoos grabbed the lead when Remar hit his 7th double of the season. The bases-clearing double off Erick Ferrell made it 8-7, Pensacola.

"Both teams had plenty of clutch hits," said Remar. "It made for an exciting game."
