The Montgomery Biscuits downed the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, 5-3. The hitting star was shortstop Gordie Robertson. Robertson went 3-5 with a triple and 2 singles for the Biscuits. Montgomery pitcher Chris Cole earned the win, hiking his record to 10-5. Doug Dickman suffered the loss. Bryan Holloway recorded the save for Montgomery, his 13th of the season.

Jayden Hudson helped out the Montgomery cause in the top of the seventh inning with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. For the game, the second baseman was 1-4 with a hit by pitch.

Montgomery manager was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard," he said.

Montgomery sits in 4th place in the TX/SL Southern League at 67-56.
