Victory Takes Brewers to 22-17
|
Milwaukee Brewers starter Bobby Born was dealing. He helped his team knock off the Cincinnati Reds, 4-0. Born got the win, improving to 4-1. He gave up 5 hits and walked 3 over 6.1 innings. He allowed no runs. The third-place Brewers sport a record of 22-17.
Milwaukee center fielder William Feltham contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With two down, he hit a sinker to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 46th hit of the season and put the Brewers ahead, 2-0.
Feltham told the Milwaukee Gazette: "Win or lose, I don't want to see our team outhustled."
