Travelers Best Shuckers, 5-2
|
Arkansas pitcher Abel Bon did his part in helping his team beat the Biloxi Shuckers, 5-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. The Travelers sit in second place in the TX/SL Texas League with a record of 54-39.
In the bottom of the third inning, center fielder Andy Jacobs had a 2-run home run for Arkansas. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Travelers on top, 2-0.
