Sylvest Swings Braves to 6-4 Win
Rome shortstop Danny Sylvest played a vital role in his team's 6-4 conquest of Kannapolis. He was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Rome. Rome is now 74-59.

There was more than one reason the Braves beat the Cannon Ballers, but Sylvest's big at-bat in the bottom of the third was an important factor. He staked his team to a 2-1 lead when he hit a run-scoring single.

Rome manager was pleased with the team's effort. "It was just a good, gutsy performance by everybody," he said.
