Dominguez goes 3-for-4 to Ignite Grasshoppers Offense

The Greensboro Grasshoppers took on the Columbia Fireflies at Segra Park.
The Greensboro Grasshoppers captured an easy win, 15-4, over the Columbia Fireflies at Segra Park. Jordan Dominguez led the offensive barrage, going 3-for-4 for Greensboro. Willie Gonzalez, the winning pitcher, is now 2-2. He went 5.1 innings, allowing 4 runs on 6 hits, while fanning 2 and walking 3.
In the top of the sixth, Greensboro catcher Danny Nevins had a productive at-bat. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and one out, Nevins stroked a 2-run single to right. It made the score 6-2, Greensboro. For the game, he was 4 for 6 with 4 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 4.
"We maximized our offense today," said Greensboro skipper . "That makes everyone's life easier."
The second-place Grasshoppers are now 59-39, the Fireflies 47-51.
