The Lakewood BlueClaws picked up a win at Appalachian Power Park, knocking off the West Virginia Power, 3-0. Starting pitcher Andy Young played a key role in the triumph. Joe Armenio recorded his 5th save for Lakewood. The loss makes West Virginia 12-29.
Chris Mayer had a direct impact on the outcome. Mayer contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the first inning to put Lakewood up, 2-0.
