Holiday Lifts RiverDogs to 8-2 Triumph
|
RiverDogs left fielder T.J. Holiday left his mark on his team's 8-2 win over the Hickory Crawdads. Holiday went 2-2 with a home run and 3 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for Charleston in the contest. The loss makes Hickory 18-22.
Bobby Aggen could have done more damage. In the bottom of the ninth, with Hickory trailing 8-0, Hickory had the bases loaded. That's when Aggen hit a sacrifice fly. But it was not enough. Charleston would go on to win the game.
