West Virginia Makes It 6 Straight with 4-3 Win

The West Virginia Power beat the Greensboro Grasshoppers, 4-3. West Virginia pitcher and Phoenix, Arizona, native Ernie Arnold led the way. The loss drops Greensboro to 3-4.
Batting in the bottom of the ninth, 23-year old second baseman Bobby Cazares had a real shot to win the game. Greensboro pitcher Juan Ruiz was determined not to let it happen. But with two outs, Cazares hit a run-scoring single. The Power had a walk-off triumph.
"I feel like we're rolling now," Cazares told the West Virginia Citizen."The dugout is coming alive."
