The losses keep piling up for the Rocket City Trash Pandas.

Pensacola right-hander Pat Ward pitched his team to victory over the Rocket City Trash Pandas at Toyota Field. The final score was 6-3. The winning pitcher was Ward, now 8-4. He tossed 7.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 2. Picking up his 19th save was 24-year old left-handed pitcher Pat Chappel.

Eddie Eakins aided the Pensacola cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the first. For the game, the shortstop drove in one run.

"I warned the team before the game," losing manager told reporters, "that I'm wearing the same pair of undies until we win."

Rocket City is in the throes of a long losing streak, which is now 9 games.
