Giants Collect 6-3 Win Versus Washington
|
Behind the bravura of right fielder Danny Lamb, the San Francisco Giants topped the Washington Nationals by the score of 6-3. Lamb went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Giants. Brandon LaBoo, the 2nd overall pick in the 2052 draft, earned the save for San Francisco. So far, the 2059 season has been disappointing for Washington, now 11-18.
Lamb had a consequential at-bat in the top of the fourth for the Giants. Coming up with runners on 2nd and 3rd and San Francisco trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run single.
"I really like what we did out there today," Lamb said after the game.
