Mahmud Khel Stars for Sea Dogs in 7-2 Win
The 2059 season began for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies with a loss to the Portland Sea Dogs at NYSEG Stadium. The final score was 7-2. Portland left fielder Alam Mahmud Khel had a fine performance.

Portland used a well-timed hit by Elijah Gaither to capture the win. The catcher socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Sea Dogs ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Gaither.
