Sonetistas Get Zilch in 1-0 Loss to Herradones, González Monday, August 6th , 1906 Everything clicked on the hill for Pedro González, as he hurled the Bayamon Herradones to a shutout win, 1-0, over the Toa Alta Sonetistas, limiting them to 3 hits while recording 7 strikeouts and yielding 5 walks. He overpowered some batters with fastballs and buckled knees with sharp breaking pitches. "We had our shot at him a couple of different times," Sonetistas manager Eduardo Rodríguez said.
