Wade Batters Irondequoit Big Time Tuesday, July 18th , 1905 Utica Half Moons center fielder Jon Wade really lit up the Irondequoit Peach Kings with a 5-hit barrage at Cookie Cutter Park -- a performance that sparked the Half Moons to a 5-0 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Jon Wade singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
