Núñez Gets PL #1 Pitcher Trophy Thursday, November 1st , 1906 Last month was a very successful month for Isidoro Núñez of Steinbach. So successful that he has been honored as the Pitcher of the Month in the Plains League. Núñez shut down league hitters in fine fashion, rounding out October with an impressive 5-3 mark and 2.17 ERA in 6 starts with 9 strikeouts in 58 innings.
