Player of the Week Trophy to Stetson Monday, September 24th , 1906 Shamel Stetson showed his stuff this past week as the veteran rode a hot streak all the way to Ligue du Baseball du Quebec Player of the Week honors. The 39-year-old Dons first baseman compiled a .370 average (10-for-27), 2 home runs and 9 RBIs. Thus far this season, Stetson is hitting .258 with 22 home runs, 70 RBIs and 58 runs scored. He has 99 hits in 383 at-bats and has played in 102 games. |
