Moya Leads Halifax to 6-0 Win Over Moncton Sunday, July 9th , 1905 Federico Moya of the Halifax Batteries blanked the Moncton Magnets, 6-0, in a complete-game win, limiting them to 2 hits while chalking up 4 strikeouts and giving up 2 walks. "He's got the makeup. He's not afraid to challenge guys," Halifax manager John Hatfield said to BNN reporters after the game. "Federico is poised out there. He knows how to pitch and how to use his stuff." So far this year, Moya has made 15 starts, tossed 126.1 innings, struck out 38 batters and walked 26.
