Meteors Get Zip in 2-0 Loss to Holland
Saturday, June 3rd , 1905
Josh Holland hurled a fine game for the Thessalon North Stars at North Stars Stadium, holding the Sudbury Meteors to 4 hits in a shutout win.
"When he started out, his command wasn't that good, but he's a tough guy," Thessalon manager Jack Barlow said. "The more pitches he throws, the better his command is."
The right-hander had 1 strikeout and no walks in the 2-0 victory.
"An outstanding job," Sudbury manager Patricio González said. "We couldn't get anything going. Every time we got a hit, he got out of the jam. He pitched a terrific game."
This year, Holland has 6 wins and 1 loss and a 3.13 ERA.
