Volcanes Blank Coahuila, Canseco Winner Sunday, November 18th , 1906 In a remarkable performance, Ciudad Mexico Volcanes starter Jairo Canseco beat the Coahuila Carboneros, 4-0, in an impressive 8-hit shutout. "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this." The Volcanes hurler finished with 5 strikeouts and 2 walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. "It was a rough one for my guys," Coahuila manager Esteban Bellán said, following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
