Matadores Heading to Serie Eliminatoria

The Jalisco Jinetes were simply overmatched by the Tijuana Matadores in the Serie Preliminar.
The end result was a sweep, as Tijuana has cruised to the Serie Eliminatoria, with the final win coming at Estadio de Tijuana by a score of 4-3.
"We're clicking and running on all cylinders at the moment," said Carlos Martínez, who was named MVP of the Serie Preliminar. "We're a dangerous team when we play like this."
For the series, Martínez hit .538 with a .538 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 2 runs.
