Durango Deals Juárez to Puebla for Barajas Thursday, August 16th , 1906 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Alacranes announced today the acquisition of 23-year old 3B Argimiro Barajas from the Puebla Mosqueteros in exchange for 34-year old LHP Mateo Juárez. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Alacranes, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." This season, Juárez has fanned 71 in 127 innings and collected a 8-7 record with a 3.12 ERA. |
