Fontaine Pitches Leones to Shutout Victory Sunday, October 21st , 1906 Adrien Fontaine scattered 6 hits over 9 innings, going the distance in the Habana Leones 1-0 victory over the Santa Clara Leopardos at Parque de los Leones. The 33-year-old Fontaine whiffed 2 and issued 2 walks. "Not perfect today, but I'll definitely take it," Fontaine said. "I made a couple mistakes but thankfully they didn't get all of them and the guys behind me cleaned things up."
