Santa Clara Silences San Antonio de los Banos, 8-0 Friday, August 3rd , 1906 In an outstanding mound performance, Santa Clara Leopardos starter Santiago Rocha fired a complete-game shutout against the San Antonio de los Banos Comediantes at Estadio de Santa Clara. Rocha was the key to the 8-0 Santa Clara win. The 32-year-old right-hander was in high spirits for much of the game, his mood largely unfazed by the 4 hits and 1 walk he allowed. "4 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter, as long as it was a shutout."
