Vallejos Hurls Leones to Shutout Victory Tuesday, June 13th , 1905 Emanuel Vallejos hurled a fine game for the Habana Leones at Parque de los Leones, holding the Nueva Gerona Marmoleros to 4 hits in a shutout win. "When he started out, his command wasn't that good, but he's a tough guy," Habana manager Telesforo López said. "The more pitches he throws, the better his command is." The right-hander had 3 strikeouts and 3 walks in the 1-0 victory. "An outstanding job," Nueva Gerona manager Julián Maciel said. "We couldn't get anything going.
