Cienfuegos Sends Mace to Santiago de Cuba Thursday, December 24th , 1903 In a hastily called press conference, Cienfuegos announced today a trade with Santiago de Cuba that will send 30-year old LHP Justin Mace and 21-year old LHP Pacífico Games to the Soneros in exchange for 26-year old LF Oscar Ibarria. All players are expected to be in their respective new cities in time for today's games. Lifetime Mace has a won-lost record of 32 victories and 45 losses with 262 strikeouts in 745.2 innings and a 2.33 ERA. In his career, Ibarria is batting .254 with 137 hits, 27 doubles, 16 triples and 2 home runs. |
