Philadelphia-Cincinnati Announce Deal Saturday, October 27th , 1906 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Philadelphia Phillies and the Cincinnati Reds have agreed to a deal that will have 19-year old CF Ty Cobb heading to Cincinnati in exchange for 30-year old RHP John Truan. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. In his whole career, the 30-year-old Truan has won 54 and lost 81, piling up 591 strikeouts and 436 walks in 1235.1 innings with a 2.80 ERA. Opponents have hit .245 against him. |
