Wild Pigeons Win, 8-3, Versus Brampton
Adam Neale was a major factor in the 8-3 Kitchener win over Brampton. The Wild Pigeons third baseman was 2 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Telémaco Aquino went 9 innings, allowing 3 runs on 11 hits. The right-hander, who is tied for 4th in the OBA in innings pitched with 50.1, struck out 7 and walked 1. With the win, he's now 3-2 this season. For the Florists, the loss makes their record 7-11.

With Kitchener leading 4-3 in the top of the ninth, Neale hit a cutter from Zósimo Santiago for a grand slam home run. It was his 14th home run of the season and put the Wild Pigeons ahead, 8-3.

Neale expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
