Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Aztecas
The Acapulco Aztecas used a stellar performance from pitcher Francisco Cervantes to throttle the Chiapas offense en route to an extra-inning, 5-2 win at Parque de los Quetzales. Santiago Márquez nailed down his 9th save. The 5th-place Quetzales dropped to 67-63.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the tenth, with the game tied, Andrés Rodríguez was at the plate when Acapulco scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Aztecas to go in front, 3-2.

"Feels good to be on the winning side," said Rodríguez.
