The Toluca Chorizos picked up a win at Parque de Acapulco, knocking off the Acapulco Aztecas, 6-4. On the mound for Toluca was right-hander Raimundo Magaña. He played a key role in the triumph. Magaña, now 11-17, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 10 hits, while striking out 1, walking 3, and allowing 4 runs. With the win, Toluca raised its record to 70-54.

In the top of the fourth, the Chorizos took the lead, 3-1, when 19-year old left fielder René González drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"Good win for us," said González. "We'll strap it on and go after the next one."
