García, Jinetes Get 3-0 Win
|
The losses keep piling up for the Tijuana Matadores.
Jalisco took on Tijuana in a contest which featured a pitchers' duel. Catamantaloedes García, in particular, was fantastic. The Jalisco left-hander helped his team snag the win, 3-0. The misery continues for the Matadores, who have now dropped 14 in a row.
García, who was born in Zacatecas, Mexico, threw 85 pitches over 7 innings, while allowing no runs.
"I can only hope we've hit rock bottom," lamented losing manager Moisés Montelongo in postgame remarks.
