Acapulco Loses Again, 5-3
The Hidalgo Cornicos picked up a win at Jardines de Pachuca, taking down the Acapulco Aztecas, 5-3. Starting pitcher Draco Medrano was a big reason why. Acapulco has now lost 7 straight.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the sixth, with the game tied, Ángel Ramos was at the plate when Hidalgo scored 2 on an error. The miscue enabled the Cornicos to go in front, 5-3.

"I warned the team before the game," losing manager Héctor Martín told reporters, "that I'm wearing the same pair of undies until we win."
