The game between Toluca and Merida is in the books, despite a little rain.

Riding the 4-hit performance of the 24-year old first baseman Fructuoso Camargo, the Toluca Chorizos stopped the Merida Trovadores, 10-2. Bolívar Gallegos was the winner. He's now 7-4. The loser was 27-year old left-handed pitcher Manuel Villicana.

In the top of the fourth, Toluca catcher Balbino Cruz had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Cruz stroked a 2-run single to right-center. It made the score 5-1, Toluca. For the game, he was 2 for 5 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs.

"They just got us," said Merida manager Hermenegildo Tafolla, "and that's all I can say."

The Chorizos go to 24-22, putting them 5th in the Sur.
