Michoacan Calaveras starter Gaspar Hernández found his groove in his team's 7-3 win over the Chetumal Mayas. The win puts Michoacan at 4-3.

The Calaveras got a big at-bat from right fielder Benedicto Donis. For the game, Donis went 1 for 4 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 2nd triple of the season gave Michoacan a 4-2 lead.

"I think it just wasn't our night," said Chetumal skipper Nicolás Durán.
