Chorizos Win, 3-2, Extend Hot Streak
|
Toluca Chorizos starter Raimundo Magaña turned in an exceptional performance against the Merida Trovadores at Parque de los Trovadores, resulting in a Toluca win, 3-2. Magaña picked up the win for Toluca, going 8 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 2-0. José Veliz closed the game out for Toluca, earning his 1st save.
Fructuoso Camargo, who finished 3rd in the LS in triples with 15 last year, had a direct impact on the outcome. Camargo contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fifth inning to put Toluca up, 3-0.
