The Santa Clara Leopardos and Cienfuegos Elefantes completed their game despite the rain.

Led by Brendan Lea, the Santa Clara Leopardos downed the Cienfuegos Elefantes, 8-6. Lea hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Leopardos. Farón Rodríquez picked up the win with 9 innings of work. He allowed 6 runs on 7 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 2. On the season, he is now 7-10.

In the top of the seventh, with Santa Clara leading 4-3, shortstop Narciso Armendáriz hit a run-scoring single. The hit came off Justin Mace and put the Leopardos ahead, 5-3.
