Escultores Win by Slim Margin, 6-5

Both teams had their chances, but the Las Tunas Escultores eventually prevailed.
Seamus Armstrong made an impact in the 6-5 Las Tunas win over Camaguey. Armstrong, who leads the TORI in extra base hits with 21, went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Las Tunas reliever Eugenio Pérez picked up the win, upping his record to 4-7. Germán Alvarado absorbed the loss.
Had Armstrong not come through in the bottom of the eighth, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Armstrong hit a 2-run single. The Escultores took the lead, 6-4, and never looked back.
"Glad to go home with a win," said Armstrong.
Las Tunas has a record of 21-29, placing them third in the Torneo Oriental Bayamo.
