Espinosa Schools Habana in 4-1 Matanzas Triumph
At Parque de los Leones, the Habana Leones and Matanzas Henequeneros were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Benicio Espinosa pitched a gem in leading Matanzas to a 4-1 victory over the Habana Leones. The Leones drop to 11-11 and continue their mediocre start to the 1905 season.

Espinosa dominated for Matanzas, raising his record to 4-0. Habana hitters had few good at-bats against the left-hander, who scattered 2 hits over 8 innings while striking out 4.

"The effort we put into this one paid off," Espinosa said.
