The Habana Leones stormed past the Cienfuegos Elefantes, 16-1, at Parque de los Leones. Habana center fielderAgüeybaná Durango , who finished 4th in the TOCC in extra base hits with 38 in 1902, led the hit parade. He was 4 for 6 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 4. Habana pitcher Emanuel Vallejos got the win, upping his record to 1-1. Leonel Téllez got the loss. Cienfuegos falls to 1-4.
Durango made an early impact for Habana when he stroked his 3rd double of the season. The 2-run double, which came in the bottom of the second, put the Leones on top, 3-0.
"Not much drama in this one," said Durango.
