Senators Lose to Cincinnati, 4-2
The Cincinnati Reds topped the Washington Senators, 4-2, in Central League action at League Park II 1894-1901. The game was highlighted by the performance of Cincinnati pitcher Peek-A-Boo Veach. The win makes Cincinnati 67-62.

The Reds got an important contribution from second baseman Billy Clingman, who in the bottom of the fifth knocked a full count fastball to right-center for a run-scoring triple. It was his 8th triple of the season and put the Reds ahead, 3-1.

"I take a professional approach to my job," said Veach. "I've been around this game for a while."
