Bender Leads Chicago to 7-0 Win Over St. Louis
|
Charles Bender of the Chicago Orphans put on a dazzling performance at Sportsman's Park I. He shut out the St. Louis Browns, 7-0, on a well-pitched 4-hitter, ringing up 5 strikeouts and issuing 1 walk.
"I felt strong out there all day," Bender said.
