Pirates Suffer 6-2 Road Loss
|
No one was more impactful than Bill Eagan in the 6-2 Washington win over Pittsburgh. Eagan, who finished 4th in the EL in runs with 68 last year, was 3-3 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. After today's action, Washington sits at 46-49, while Pittsburgh falls to 56-39.
Billy Nash was a prime contributor to the Washington win. He was 2 for 5 with a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. In the bottom of the third with one out, the 36-year old third baseman hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 3-1, in favor of the Senators.
"Today was a lot of fun," said Nash.
