Nash scores 3 runs to Fuel Senators Offense
At Exposition Park 1891-1908, the Pittsburgh Pirates and Washington Senators were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Senators third baseman Billy Nash left his mark on his team's 8-1 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. Nash, who finished 5th in the WL in home runs with 4 in 1903, was 2 for 2 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for Washington in the contest. Larry McKeon, the winner, improved to 9-8. He held the Pirates to 1 run on 6 hits over 9 innings, while striking out 2 and walking 2.

The Senators had to work out of trouble in the bottom of the ninth. The score was 8-1, Washington, with no one out. Pittsburgh, with runners on 1st and 2nd, was mounting a threat. Phil Lewis dug in at the plate, but on a 1-0 curveball, he hit into a double play.

With the win, the Senators improved to 37-42.
