Reds Come Back Late to Clip Orphans
The Cincinnati Reds besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Chicago third baseman Bill Dahlen by beating the Orphans, 5-4, at West Side Grounds 1894-1915. Dahlen was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times. The Reds now have a mark of 23-25.

Harry Steinfeldt provided a timely hit. The Cincinnati center fielder delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the ninth inning to put the Reds on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"We found a way to get it done," Steinfeldt said.
