3-2 Triumph Takes Pittsburgh to 19-10
Pittsburgh beat Philadelphia on the strength of starting pitcher Andy Coakley's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 3-2. The triumph puts Pittsburgh at 19-10 for the season.

Joe Sugden had a critical at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for Pittsburgh. He came through with a run-scoring single to put Pittsburgh in front, 3-0.

"We found a way to get it done," Sugden said.
