Aztecas Move on to Serie Eliminatoria
The Acapulco Aztecas clubhouse was filled with glee and celebration tonight, while the Campeche Corsarios room was filled with despair and sadness after the Serie Preliminar concluded.

"Someone's got to win and someone's got to lose, we're just glad we're on the good end of it tonight and can enjoy this," said Luis Medina, who was named MVP for a strong series of offensive performance.

Acapulco won the final game by a 4-3 count at Parque de Campeche and the series 3-1.

Campeche manager Gerardo Martín was simple and to-the-point in his assessment of the series.

"They were the better team and deserve to move on," he said.

For the series, Medina hit .412 with a .412 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 3 runs.

The Serie Eliminatoria matchups and schedule will be announced after the Serie Preliminar finishes.
