Vancouver took on Kelowna in front of a lively crowd.

The Vancouver Gas finished off the Kelowna Grizzlies, 5-2. Much of the credit belonged to third baseman Jimeno Flores. Flores hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Gas. David Rodríguez earned the win for Vancouver. He lasted 8 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 4. With the win, he raised his record to 11-13.

Early in the game, Flores had a 2-run home run for Vancouver. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Gas on top, 3-1.

"I like how we're playing right now," said Flores.

Vancouver has a record of 61-65, placing them third in the Western League.
