Medicine Hat Draws Blanks Against Paredes
|
Calgary Chargers starter Fidel Paredes really did a number on the Medicine Hat Hellfire, shutting them out, 2-0, on 7 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 2 walks and had 2 strikeouts.
"We didn't have good at-bats," said Medicine Hat manager Tim Muck. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Paredes."
Thus far this season, Paredes has worked 143.1 innings with 45 strikeouts en route to a 10-6 record and a 2.51 ERA.
