Streaking Hellfire Win Another One, 7-3
The Vancouver Gas got a superb performance from pitcher Mateo Sánchez, but the Medicine Hat Hellfire still won the game, 7-3. Sánchez came in in relief and pitched to 20 batters. Medicine Hat is in second place in the Western League with a record of 17-13.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Jacinto Preciado? The Medicine Hat second baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Hellfire on top, 6-2. For the game, Preciado had 1 double and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

"This team is hotter than heck," said Medicine Hat manager Tim Muck.
